16 African Stars set for the weekends season opener



The 2026 Chinese Women’s Super League commence at the weekend. Africa will be well represented with the following players currently listed. Zambia has 5 players in the Super League, Nigeria four with one each from Mali, RD Congo, Burundi, Uganda, Liberia Ghana and Egypt.

The season commences April 25 champions Beijing take on Zhejiang. Wuhan face Changchun. Liaoning who came close to taking the title last year open against Guandong. Shandong v Jiangsu, Guangxi v Sichuan, and Ruth Mukoma’s Shanghai take on Shaanxi.
