MAITE ZAMORANO, THE FORMER NATIONAL TEAM’S TOP SCORER, IS IN VERY POOR HEALTH, AND MARCELO MARTINS COMMITTED TO HELP HER
The best Bolivian soccer player in history isn’t doing well. Maitte Zamorano suffers from serious kidney problems, and the only solution to improve her health and prevent her life from being in danger is a kidney transplant, an option the former striker and current coach is also convinced of.
“I have to undergo dialysis for my chronic kidney problem. And the truth is, I feel very weak now. I’ve never been in this situation before,” says Zamorano, visibly emaciated and several pounds lighter. She had previously had health problems due to her kidneys, but with treatment, she had returned to her normal life. Upon learning of the difficult time Zamorano is going through, the “flecheiro” (arrow) said he will help her through this difficult time for Maite.
Our beloved Maitte Zamorano Oficial, eternal captain of the Bolivian Women’s National Team, ambassador of CONMEBOL Femenina, top scorer on two occasions in the CONMEBOL Libertadores, and current Technical Director of Club Deportivo ITA, is battling chronic kidney failure.
That’s why, at Club Deportivo ITA, with all our hearts in our hearts, we’re organizing a grand raffle and charity fair to raise funds and help our warrior win this match of her life. This activity will take place on Sunday, June 1st, at the Bolivian Engineers’ Society (C. Mocapini # 402, Urbarí Neighborhood, Santa Cruz), starting at 11:00 a.m.
⚠️ Today more than ever, Maitte Zamorano needs all of us! ⚠️
We invite you to join us with your support, whether it’s with a donation, sponsorship, logistical assistance, or simply by sharing this post. Every gesture counts!
