Tutankhamun clinched the double in Egypt as they defeated Wadi Degla in the Women’s Cup Final.  A dominant first half saw them take a 3-0 half time advantage Mahira Aly opened the scoring with a exquisite finish.  Sandrine Niyonkuru converted a penalty to open the 3-0 advantage.  Despite a fight back from Wadi Degla Tutankhamon held out to retain the Cup with a 4-2 victory.

Africa Women’s CHAMPIONSHIPS. CF Akbou win the Algerian Cup. Ebolowa on the brink of the Title, Green Buffaloes and Zesco remain neck and neck in Zambia.


CF Akbou emerged victorious in the Algerian Women’s Cup Final. Frustrated in the 90 minutes by CS Constantine who give little opportunities the match went to penalties. Akbou emerged victorious 5-4 in the shootout to remain on course for a domestic double.





Zambia’s Women’s Championship remains as dramatic as last year as both Green Buffaloes and Zesco Ndola remain on level points at 80. Army outlasted a brave effort from second division Epiphany in a tense Ghana Women’s Cup semi final .  Adama Alhassan equaliser for Epiphany in the 59th minute took the tie to extra time . Inter D’Abidjan clinched the title in Côte D’Ivoire with a 3-1 win over Ange FC. The unbeaten champion improved their record to 18 wins and one draw through round 19. ASEC remain on course for the runners up spot Ouedraogo Habibou scoring five goals in the 10-1 demolition of Teco




ASFAR clinched a 11th title in Morocco with four games to spare. Doha El Madani lead  the way with a hattrick in a 7-0 win over AJNLF. Second place SCC where held to a draw by CRAH.

Oumou Kone scored 7 goals as USFA crushed Etoile 9-0. Amazone and Super Lionnes both earned victories to remain first and second respectively in Group B. AS Mande defeated Police 3-0 to return to the top of Group A Fatoumata Diarra scoring a brace in the win. Police remain in second on 16pts.

Aigle Dames de la Medina continued there charge to the title in Senegal. Haby Balde scored the match winner against Amazone and move 9 points clear at the top of the standings.  Second place Bambey suffered a 1-0 loss to USPA.

Kenya took a break from the league as Kenya Police Bullets continued its bid for a double. Dominating the championship the leaders stormed to a 4-1 win over Kangemi, Lucy Kwekwe scoring twice, Lydia Akoth and Rebecca Okwaro also finding the net.  A second half goal Blitz from Zetech saw them cruise to a 8-0 win over Kisiwa. Ulinzi Starlets overcame Milima 2-0 Everline Juma and Fasila Adhiambo the scorers. Nancy Atako, Lucky Achando and Maximila Robi found the net as Kibera Soccer beat Bungoma 3-0.


Hadijah Nandago scored the vital goal as Kawempe Muslim open a 7 point gap at the top of the table over Kampala Queens .  Kawempe defeated UCU Lady Cardinals 2-1, Cardinals drop into the relegation zone .  Reigning champions Kampala where held 2-2 by Makarere Sharon Namatovu brace for the visitors ensured a vital point .

LDF overcame a test from LMPS scoring a 1-0 win to move to within a victory of retaining the title . They will face Berea next weekend in a catch up game the only scheduled match of the league . K4L brushed aside Bantu 5-1 .


CR Belouizdad held Affak Relizane to a 2-2 draw as round 13 continued today . The league looks forward to the crunch duel at the top of the table on Friday when JF Khroub host CF Akbou

Battles for second spot remain tight as Northern won 3-1 at Tamale and Dreamz beat Prisons 1-0 to move into third in the North section a point behind Northern .  Faith Ladies fell to the Police 0-2 but remain 3pts clear of Army.

Africa Women’s Championships.. Shaita win the Orange Cup, Minnies shines as Sundowns crush newcomers, Inter on the verge of the title. Zambia’s top two tie to remain level at the top


Shaita Angels won the Orange Cup Final in Liberia in a tense duel with World Girls.  The 120 minutes ended goalless and Shaita Angels held their nerves in the penalty shoot out to win the trophy. It ends a impressive season as Shaita earned the runners up position in the Women’s Upper Division.


Champions Mamelodi swept aside newcomers Lindelani 7-0, with starlet Miche Minnies on form as she scored a hattrick. Boitumelo Rabale added a brace.  TUKS moved to level points overcoming City Lads 3-2.  Copperbelts suffered there first loss of the season falling 2-0 to TUT.



Inter D’Abidjan moved to within a point of the title as they defeated nearest challenger ASEC 1-0 with a goal from Sidebe. Stella fc remains third as they beat Cocody 2-0.


Puren Alukwe Anyetu fired a hattrick for the Police Bullets who dominated Nakuru City 4-0 to maintain its 9 points advantage over Vihiga Queens.  It was her third hattrick of the season.    Vihiga Queens bead Bunyore 3-0 Wailulu scoring twice. The reigning champions still have two games in hand on the league leaders. Bungoma defeated Soccer Assassins to move out of the final relegation spot.

Kawempe Muslim returned to winning form as they overcame a battling Rines 2-1 Allen Nassazi being the match winner.  Kampala Queens were held by Uganda Martyrs to a scoreless draw.


Buja Queens were in great form as they beat Colombe 5-0,  Ciella, Gloris, Momo, and a brace from Chiba kept them in top spot ahead of PVP who beat Maika 5-1 to keep up the challenge at the top of the standings.



Etincelles remain top in Burkina Faso as they beat ASSU-AJAX 3-0, USFA the nearest challenger thumped Wend Raabo 5-0.


Ampem Darkoa and Hasaacas continue to lead their respective groups in Ghana.  Tracey Twum scored twice to lead Ampem Darkoa to a 2-1 win over Ashtown.  Hasaacas were held to a 2-2 draw by Berry Ladies.


Zambia’s top two clash ended in a 1-1 draw. Avell Chitundu opened the scoring on 25 minutes for Zesco Ndola only for Agness Phiri to level matters on 35 minutes.  Both have 65pts however Green Buffaloes have a game in hand. Kamfinsa Blue and Luyando Foundation both scored important wins in the battle against relegation.

Lady Doves stunned Championship hopefuls Kawempe Muslim in a five goal thriller coming out 3-2 winners .  Resty Kobusobozi being the two goal heroine for the Doves who earned valuable points in the relegation battle .

Elsewhere Rines SS defeated She Maroons 2-1 and Wakiso were thwarted by Uganda Martyrs as Kevin Nakacwa scored a 90th minute equaliser .


Commercial Bank and Hawassa opened up a gap at the top of the table recording victories as they continued catch up play .  Bank defeated Diredawa 4-1 Ariet Odong and Senaf Wakuma both scoring twice .  Hawassa defeated Sidama 2-1 Rediet Asreasahegn recording a brace . Both have finished there rescheduled program having played 13 games each to end the first half of the season .
