Reports from Brasil state Cruzeiro have agreed to sell Under 20 International Rebeca to Houston Dash for 1m Rs approximately $175k.   Cruzeiro would keep 10% of the players economic rights. It is the club’s first transfer in its history.

Coming through the ranks of Fortaleza sub 18 and 20 Feminino, along with featuring in the seniors, she moved to Cruzeiro in 2023.  In 2024, the midfielder made 16 appearances and scored once. She was important in winning the Mineiro title and finishing second in the Super Cup.

Rebeca Costa da Silva was constantly called up to the Brazilian Under-20 team and was treated as a ‘jewel’ of the team.

Kúkoma Ntopwa were crowned champions of Malawi after a dramatic penalty shoot out defeating Silver Strikers. Kandowa Banda struck in the 15th minute before a exceptional strike from Ireen Khumalo in the 84th minute levelled the game for Silver Strikers. Ntopwa won a tense penalty shoot out 4-3 to clinch the title.
