The champion team will receive R$ 1 million and the runner-up R$ 500 thousand, and all clubs will have quotas and prizes. The amount of BRL 2.6 million represents an increase of 1757% compared to the 2021 edition, when clubs were paid BRL 140,000 – BRL 90,000 for the champion and BRL 50,000 for the runner-up.

Alg Spor claimed the final championship to be won in the European leagues defeating Fatih Karagumruk 2-1 in a hard fought contest .  Karagumruk started brightly earning a penalty in the second minute but Kibel Duman saw her low penalty effort saved by Selda Akgoz .  Karagumruk struck first when Dumams in swinging free kick deceived everyone to find the corner of the net in the 26th minute. Favourite Alg Spor struggled to find rhythm and openings against a physical Karagumruk in the opening 45 minutes .  The second half opened with Alg Spor finding more space but it took to the 60th minute to break down the defence Emine Écen levelling the scoring . Three minutes later the same player struck what would be the winning goal getting a faint final touch on Ebru Topçu ‘s effort. Karagumruk tired and found little opportunities to get back level as Alg Spor spurned further opportunities to extend their lead .

In Benin Espoir dominated the championship final against Aïnonvi with a 3-0 victory , Allade Bossede opened the scoring in the 10th minute and added a second in the 60th minute with a header . Yasmine Fayomi sealed the victory in the 76th minute with a excellent solo effort .

Double Action rounded off a tough three day tournament that saw 5 games in 3 days to be champion defeating a battling Mexican Girls side whose brave efforts féll just short. Catalina Usme’s brace lead America de Cali to the championship title in front of a record 38,800 record attendance as they defeated Deportivo Cali 3-1 on the night to win a spectacular final 4-3 on aggregate.  Usme opened the scoring in the 7th minute, Ingrid Vidal doubled the advantage on 15 minutes in a hectic final.   Linda Caicedo levelled the tie on 46 minutes before Usme cooly struck home a penalty in the 70th minute,  to regain the advantage 4-3 on aggregate.

Twente and Ajax played out a seven goal thriller on the Netherlands Eredivisie Cup as the Enchede outfit came out victors 4-3, Romee Leuchter opened the scoring for Ajax in the 18th minute, a sublime effort from Anna Lena Stolze levelled proceedings. Marisa Olislagers gave Twente the lead in the 53rd minute as Ajax keeper mishandled a in swinging corner as the ball dropped just over the line, two minutes later Stolze completed her brace to make the score 3-1. Romee Leuchter brought Ajax back into the game on 66 minutes before Renate Jansen burst clear calmly lobbing the advancing keeper to restore Twente ‘s two goal lead. Tiny Hoekstra’ s superb strike on 89 minutes give Ajax late hope but Twente held out for their second trophy of the season.

Internacional claimed the points in the Grenal with a 2-1 victory over Gremio, Duda and Lele with first half strikes for Inter with Cassia bringing the hosts back into the game in the 70th minute. Dani Venturini struck on 47 minutes to give Avai Kindermann a 1-0 win over Ferroviaria, São Paulo easily disposed of Cresspom 3-1 and a Sassa strike on 25 minutes earned Real Brasília the points over Cruzeiro.

CAF Women’s Under 17 Qualifying 4th round 2nd leg

Morocco 🇲🇦 qualify for the Fifa Women’s Under 17 World Cup in India 🇮🇳 defeating Ghana 🇬🇭 2-0 in a controversial second leg. Ghana lost four players before the game who tested positive for Covid, they exhibited video of sitting outside their changing room at half time claiming chemicals spray inside. Morocco took the lead on 15 minutes through Fatima El Ghazouani, Samya Mansaoui levelled the tie on 46 minutes in a hostile atmosphere no further scoring could be made and the tie went to the dreaded penalties with Morocco prevailing.
