Alg Spor claimed the final championship to be won in the European leagues defeating Fatih Karagumruk 2-1 in a hard fought contest .  Karagumruk started brightly earning a penalty in the second minute but Kibel Duman saw her low penalty effort saved by Selda Akgoz .  Karagumruk struck first when Dumams in swinging free kick deceived everyone to find the corner of the net in the 26th minute. Favourite Alg Spor struggled to find rhythm and openings against a physical Karagumruk in the opening 45 minutes .  The second half opened with Alg Spor finding more space but it took to the 60th minute to break down the defence Emine Écen levelling the scoring . Three minutes later the same player struck what would be the winning goal getting a faint final touch on Ebru Topçu ‘s effort. Karagumruk tired and found little opportunities to get back level as Alg Spor spurned further opportunities to extend their lead .
