Nineteen teams embark on the mission for super 6 glory in a bid to dethrone Bayelsa Queens.

In a intriguing opening match the reigning champions face another contender Edo Queens who in the off season have invested strongly in a bid to retain the title they won in 2024.

Group A will feature 9 teams after Castmog were demoted with registration and licensing non compliance therefore 2 other teams will be relegated from this group.

Group B featuring 10 teams 3 teams will be relegated as the league returns to 16 teams in the 2026-27 season.

The top 3 in each group will play  the Super 6 championship

Akbou maintained their 100 percent start to the season with a Affak Houria  89th minute winner.


Ethio Electric recorded a 8th successive win to open the season defeating Sidama 2-0. CBE have three games in hand tomorrow they face Mechal.
