Ashrakat Adel’s goal in extra time earned Al Alhy the Egypt Women’s Cup breaking clear to slide the ball under the keeper to break the deadlock in the 106th minute. It was a tense duel Wadi Degla having the better of the first half but Al Alhy grew into the game of which both defences dominated before Al Alhy found the perfect through ball at the opening of the second period of Extra Time to earn their first major trophy.
