Host China thrilled a delightful crowd cruising to a 5-0 win over Uzbekistan. Zhang Xin opened the scoring on the stroke of half time before Ziqin Shao added a second in stoppage time of the opening period. Li Mengwen struck a stunning third goal on 69 minutes before Wang Yanwen 87 and Jing Liu 90 rounded off the scoring.
Thailand came from behind to defeat understrength Zambia 3-2. Saowalek Pengngam struck the match winner in the 73rd minute.
