CBF opens facility identification process for the Fifa Women’s World Cup 2027

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has opened a process to identify facilities (fields or training centers) that can host the national teams participating in the FIFA Women’s World Cup, which will be hosted by Brazil in 2027.

The goal is to gather at least 50 options in a virtual catalog, which FIFA will present to the teams. All cities in the country can participate in the process, as long as they meet minimum requirements, such as, for example, adequate facilities for training, 4 or 5-star hotels located close to the suggested fields and a maximum distance of one hour from airports that can accommodate aircraft with at least 120 passengers.

Candidates must also provide guarantees of availability of the fields, the hotel network and local government agencies.

The CTs must be available for exclusive use by the participating team for approximately 45 days during the period of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, which is confirmed to open on June 24, 2027.
