Mamelodi Sundowns showed no mercy to the low flying l stuck at the bottom of the table.  Sundowns rattled in 13 goals without reply. Champions ASFAR commenced the new season with a comfortable 4-0 win over ARAFF.  Sanaa Mssoudy, Najat Badri a brace and Zineb Redouani scoring the goals.  Elsewhere Sporting Casablanca overcame AMLFF Sylviane Kokora scoring the winner. FUS defeated WAC 3-1 and HST crushed Chabab outfit 6-1 Fatima Zhara Nainaa bagging a double.  Berkane won the battle of the newcomers 1-0 Anissa Belkasmi the vital goal.  This season under new regulations 4 teams will be relegated.


Zesco Ndola Girls continued there 100% start to the season defeating Green Eagles 4-1, Charity Mubanga scoring twice Avell Chitundu and Fridah Kabwe finding the target. Kamfinsa Blue continued a impressive start overcoming Indeni Roses 2-1. Zanaco got there first win of the season a resounding 5-0 win over Nchanga.

Stella Nyamekye player of the tournament

Ghana starlet Stella Nyamekye inspired Dreamz Ladies to a surprising Ghana Women’s Super Cup 2024 victory.  After overcoming Hasaacas in the Semi Final, Dreamz took down Ampem Darkoa in the final, Stella Nyamekye scoring the tournament winning goal in a 2-1 win.


Champions Kawempe Muslim made mistake as they opened the 2024-25 season with a 3-0 victory over Rines, Agnes Nabukenya the hattrick hero of the game.  Wakiso Hill stunned Kampala Queens with a dramatic added time equaliser for a 1-1 draw.


Togo Champions ASKO march on in Poule B defeating Foadan 2-1,  Entente continua to lead Poule A with a 3-1 win over Athléta.


Shaita Angels defeated Determine Girls in the Liberia  Women’s Super Cup in a penalty shoot out following a regulation time 1-1 stalemate.

Africans shine abroad in the top divisions at least 35 different scorers in a weekend of excellent performances.   Naomie Kabakaba and Mavis Owusu firing hattricks in Saudi Arabia Women’s Premier League opening games. Manyima Stevelmans scored a important double for Riga FC in a 3-2 win over second place RFS Women to open a six point advantage.  Rasheedat Ajibade scored twice as Atletico kept up a perfect start to the season.  Asisat Oshoala scored a penalty to move Bay FC into the play off positions in NWSL.  Agueicha Diarra scored a excellent goal for PSG who defeated Guingamp 4-0.

Kabange Mupopo assisted Wuhan to a Championship title in China as they defeated Shaanxi 1-0 in the final round of matches.  Despite Esther Okoronkwo’s brace Changchun were pipped to the title by a point.

Evy Pereira was on target in Turkiye as Beşiktaş defeated Çemeköy 6-0. Patrícia Setoco scored twice as Alg Spor held off Hakkarigücü 3-2 for whom Elizabeth Owusuwaa was on target.
