Africa Women’s Championships: Rayon dethrone Kigali, Buffaloes hit the top in Zambia. Lekie move level with Ebolowa Vihiga stunned in the Cup


Rayon FC clinched the title in Rwanda as they defeated Muhazi 1-0 to dethrone AS Kigali as champions.



Champions Determine Girls enjoyed a weekend off as Blanco forfeited the game.



Champions Lekie FF joined leaders Ebolowa on 38pts defeating AS Fortuna 2-0 with goals from Manga Zouma and Michele Moumazim. Ebolowa’s run of poor form continued as they were held to a goalless draw by Amazone FAP


Mamelodi Sundowns bounced back from a midweek defeat with a 5-1 win over Durban. Mamelodi lead the table on 12pts level with TUKS who won 3-1 at Thunderbirds.


Zambia’s title race continues to be neck and neck as Green Buffaloes hit the top on goal difference. The great derby weekend saw Buffaloes defeat rival Red Arrows 2-0, Bwalya Namute Chileshe and a late Salome Phiri goal securing the points.   Zesco where frustrated by Indeni Roses in the Ndola Derby. Natasha Kapombo  put Indeni ahead before Fridah Kabwe equalised late in the game.


Ethio Electric remain top in Ethiopia despite a 3-0 loss to Hasaacas. Champions Commercial Bank beat Yirgachefe 2-0 remaining level on 19ps with Hasaacas. Both have 4 games in hand on the league leaders.


In Benin Ainonvi and Elite remain group leaders Ainonvi defeating UMSA 3-0 and Elite gaining a 1-0 win at Gamia.


Lesotho saw only one game as defending champions and leader LDF Ladies won 2-0 against Mpakhi.  LDF has a 5 pt advantage on 39pts. Kick 4 Life are in second with 34pts.


Goals from  AitLhaj 61′ and Fátima Tagnaout 66′ lead ASFAR to a 2-0 win over FUS in the Rabat Derby remaining 9 points clear of SCC who won 6-1 against ITFF


Inter D’Abidjan continued there assault on the title defeating Cocody 3-0 to remain 8 points clear of ASEC who recorded a 3-0 victory over AFAN



Tutankhamun continue to remain in charge of the title race in Egypt edging closer to the title with a 8-0 win over Glory.  Wadi Degla remain 2nd on 58pts from 22 games played 9pts behind the leaders.


CF Akbou remain top as Second half braces for Ghania Ayadi and Thirizi Baali lead  Club Football Akbou to a 7-0 win over USF Bejaia

Ghada Gabou scored a brace as JF Khroub remain in second spot 3 pts behind.


In Kenya’s Women’s Cup round of 16 Kisawa stunned Vihiga Queens Shamim Makokha scoring the match winner. Premier League leaders enjoyed a 3-0 win at Kisped to remain on course for a double.



Mogbewmo Queens remains 6 points clear despite being held by second place FC Kallon in the match of the round. The pair played out a 1-1 draw
