Congo hosted both legs with Namibia in Niamey, taking advantage of home field they defeated the guest 2-1 in the first leg before easing to a 3-0 second leg win to advance 5-1 on aggregate and set up a tie with Egypt.

Egypt dominated both ties against Sao Tome to gain a 18-0 aggregate win.
