The match was outside tournament play as a friendly due to the late withdrawal from the tournament of Jordan , the two associations agreed to play a friendly .
The match was a tight contest as Zambia dominated with possession coming up against a dogged North Macedonia defense who seemed to have held Zambia at bay in a tightly fought contest , before a late strike by Grace Chanda in additional time earned Zambia the victory .
Zambia will start tournament play on February 18 when they face Slovênia , North Macedonia will face off against Bulgaria .

A sweet right footed volley from Kristina Erman doubled Slovenia’s advantage , however a stunning strike from Lyudmila Karachik from long range immediately reduced the score .
