Favourite Alg Spor struggled to find rhythm and openings against a physical Karagumruk in the opening 45 minutes . The second half opened with Alg Spor finding more space but it took to the 60th minute to break down the defence Emine Écen levelling the scoring . Three minutes later the same player struck what would be the winning goal getting a faint final touch on Ebru Topçu ‘s effort. Karagumruk tired and found little opportunities to get back level as Alg Spor spurned further opportunities to extend their lead .
