Germany and France ensured their qualification to the Fifa Women’s Under 17 World Cup in India with semi final victories over France and Netherlands respectively. Alara Sehitler’s wonder strike on 40 minutes broke the deadlock against a resilliant French defence proving to be the match winner. In the second semi final Spain dominated Netherlands with Nina Pou’s double and a sublime move in the very final minute ending with Olaya Enrique slotting the ball cooly into the bottom corner with the last kick off the contest to cement Spain’s 3-0 victory.
