Brasil overcame Colombia 3-0 in the second game of the evening.  Giovaninha headed home at the near post to open the scoring on 16 minutes showing her striking instincts she has shown in the past three years in São Paulo as she raced into space and glanced home the in swinging corner. It was the turn of Santos progedy to extend the lead on 39 minutes when Analuyza’s free kick found its way to the back of the net.    Colombia tried in vain to get back into the game and it took a great save by Barbieri to keep the two Goal advantage.
